Tony Moran (of Waverley Golf Club) and Paul Chopping (RACV Cape Schnack) are off to play in the 2015 Vic Open Pro-Am after winning this year's Geoff Ogilvy Golf Challenge at the ‘the home’ of the Australian Masters, Huntingdale GC.
The 2014 charity event saw teams from golf clubs throughout Victoria contest the four ball best ball stableford event to raise funds for more than 7000 children living in out-of-home care in Victoria.
“These kids will receive a tremendous boost to their education through the generosity of the golfers who took part in the Geoff Ogilvy Golf Challenge,” said the Tee Up for Kids Foundation President, Ian McPherson.
“We are the golfers' charity and Geoff is looking forward to meeting the winners and personally thanking them for their support." The winners receive not only the invitation to play in the Vic Open ProAm, but also a personal trophy and a Titleist Tour Golf Bag personally signed by Geoff.
