Golfers can help Change

Geoff Ogilvy, Patron for Tee Up For Kids

In Victoria alone it is responsible for the generation of more $600 million towards the State’s Gross State Product and employment for more than 9500 people full-time, plus another 15,000 part-time.

Overall, more than 500,000 Victorians play golf each year and they spend more than $601million annually in the pursuit of their passion. They, and others, also spend more than $200 million per year on golf-related travel.

The game, its industry and its patrons now have the potential to make a major difference to young people who are in need of being connected to the community so they can lead fulfilling and purposeful lives.

The aim of the Tee-up for Kids Foundation is to raise funds for approved programs to help these young people fulfil their dreams.

Under the guidance of the Child Safety Commissioner of Victoria, the funded programs will seek to provide real and life-sustaining relationships for the young people in the communities in which they live.

The generosity of golfers will give them the same hopes and dreams that we have for our own children.

Golfers will make a real impact on a major community cause; one that will be recognised around the world.
